This Privacy Policy describes how DomainDroid ("us," "we," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use the DomainDroid website and application (the "Service").

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect information such as your email address and a unique user identifier (UID) generated by Firebase Authentication.
  • Profile Information: If you choose to provide it, we may store a business name or other profile details you associate with your account.

  • Domain Search Queries: The business names, ideas, and search parameters you submit to the Service.
  • Domain Search Results & Favorites: Data related to the domain names generated, their availability, SEO scores, rationales, and any domains you mark as "Favorites."
  • Interaction Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, and the date and time of your activities.
  • Technical Data: We may automatically collect data about your device and connection, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

With Third-Party Service Providers:

  • Firebase (Google): For authentication, database (Cloud Firestore), hosting (Firebase App Hosting), and cloud functions. Google's privacy policy applies to their services.
  • Gemini API (Google): Your domain search queries and business ideas are sent to the Gemini API for AI-powered suggestions and SEO rationale generation. Google's privacy policy for the Gemini API applies to this data processing.
  • Domain Availability API (e.g., Namecheap API): Your suggested domain names are sent to this API to check their availability. The privacy policy of the specific domain registrar/API provider will apply to this data.
  • Analytics Providers (e.g., Google Analytics): To monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

For Legal Reasons:

If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

Business Transfers:

In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.

With Your Consent:

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
